Over the course of 291, Dragon Ball Z had some absolute classic storylines, which featured memorable matches between some of the mightiest fighters in any genre. However, not every episode was amazing. A lot suffered from being filler, while others adapted chapters of the manga that just weren't as exciting as others. We've looked through the highest and lowest-rated episodes of Dragon Ball Z on IMDb, and we'll tell you what we found in this video.

One of the highest-ranked episodes is "Final Atonement," which is part of the "Buu Saga." Although the "Buu Saga" isn't considered to be the series' best, there are some really solid episodes throughout, and one of them comes fairly early on. In "Final Atonement," Vegeta sacrifices himself in order to protect those he cares about and stop Buu after temporarily breaking bad again. He gives Trunks a heartfelt goodbye, and dies. The episode is immensely sad, but that's also why it's one of the best.
