Following the events of Dragon Ball Super: Broly, the Dragon Ball Super anime will adapt the manga's current arc, called the "Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga." Moro -- that arc's villain -- is still shrouded in mystery, but don't worry. We've got you covered in this new video explaining Dragon Ball Super's newest villain.

Moro has an immensely long history that dates back millions of years. The villain is one of the most powerful beings in the universe and possesses strong magical abilities. A big part of understanding Moro and his history is the hierarchy of Kais, the Grand Supreme Kai, who oversees the entire universe, in particular. The manga reveals that Daikaioh -- the Grand Supreme Kai of Universe 7 -- used much of his power to seal away Moro's immensely powerful magic. The Galactic Patrol then imprisoned Moro. It's the villain's escape from custody that serves as the catalyst for the events of the "Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga."

Although Daikaioh was able to best Moro, the hero eventually fell to Maijin Buu, who absorbed him. However, the Grand Supreme Kai of Universe 7's goodness helped to make Majin Buu less evil. It's clear that Buu is going to play a major role in thie saga, as -- in an effort to defeat the return Moro -- the Galactic Patrol abducted Goku, Vegeta and Buu.

Moro's exact strength is unknown, but he's following up the immensely powerful Broly, which means that he's probably going to be stronger than him. How exactly Goku, Vegeta and Buu defeat Moro remains to be seen. They may not even be able to kill the powerful villain, instead opting to imprison him again. Regardless of what happens, the "Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga" is sure to have major ramifications for the future of the Dragon Ball universe and Majin Buu as a character.
