VIDEO: Dragon Ball's Strongest Race Isn't The One You Think

Dragon Ball Super Tournament of Power roster

Although Dragon Ball is famous for its immensely powerful Saiyans, they're not the most powerful race in the universe. They're certainly up there and amongst the strongest, as they have a seemingly limitless capacity for finding new and powerful forms. Heck, they might even end up becoming the most powerful one day, but for right now, there's one that out does all of them in our ranking of the most powerful races in the Dragon Ball universe.

You might think the strongest we're going to talk about we're going to declare the Angels the strongest race, and their strength is definitely immense.  They're able to use an array of powers that make them absolutely fearsome, including time travel, teleportation and create objects from thin air, in addition to a lot more. However, they're duty-bound, which means they don't use their powers particularly freely, and that ends up hampering them on a list of the strongest races.

Although Dragon Ball: Super has already finished its run in Japan, dub-watching fans are still in the process of seeing what the popular franchise still holds. Super Dragon Ball Heroes is helping tide fans over in the short-term, but it's unknown at this time just when the series will return with new episodes. Still, characters are likely to keep changing as the series progresses and as we find out what happens next.
