Considering that the contracts of a lot of Marvel Cinematic Universe actors are set to expire soon, Avengers: Endgame stands a fair chance of featuring the death of at least one beloved hero. If a character is going to die, it makes sense to have them perish in Endgame, so we're making predictions about who will and won't survive the next team-up film.

We already know that characters such as Spider-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy are likely to survive, as there are currently plans for movies focused on the characters in Phase Four. However, the firing of director James Gunn does open up the possibility that reshoots on Endgame might alter their fates.

Most fans are eager to see what happens to Captain America and Iron Man, as many have speculated they will die in the coming film. A lot of this is theoretical, but it makes sense for certain characters to play a role in the future of the MCU. Check out the video below for more characters who we think will and won't survive Endgame.

We also think Black Widow is safe, as it doesn't make much sense to kill the character off just before giving her a solo movie of her own, which may even be the MCU's first R-Rated film. Black Panther and Shuri will also likely return as the former's first solo film made over $1 billion, and it wouldn't make much sense to kill him off before giving him a sequel.
