A lot of fan theories suggest Steve Rogers/Captain America will die in Avengers: Endgame. Most of those involved with the production have done a good job of keeping the beloved character's fate under wraps, though actor Chris Evans has made some comments that have only served to stoke those theories. However, we think that Steve Rogers will survive the events of Endgame.

We're not saying that Captain America won't have a quick brush with death, but he has a habit of coming back. Considering that time travel is set to play a role through the Quantum Realm, there's always a chance that the time stream for the whole universe. This leaves open the possibility of Evans temporarily, and ambiguously, leaving, with the option of bringing themselves back with for any relevant stories. This might also allow for a return to the World War II adventures of Captain America and a happy ending with Peggy Carter.
