Avengers: Endgame will very likely see the titular heroes defeat Thanos, though it's not clear at this time how. Once that goal is achieved, someone is going to have to step in to make sure that no one is ever able to bring together all of the Infinity Stones again. That's where Infinity Watch might come in.

First appearing in 1992's Warlock and the Infinity Watch, the team was created by Jim Starlin and Angel Medina. The team has had a lot of different members in the past, including Drax the Destroyer, Gamora, Thanos and Adam Warlock. Although a lot of its members haven't yet been introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's possible that they'll appear in some way in the future. However, as there have been a lot of members, the team is a lot more flexible in terms of who might be on it. The team itelf guards the Infinity Stones against those who would misuse them.

Check out the video below for more proof that Infinity Watch might get introduced in Endgame and more details about the team.

If Infinity Watch does get assembled in Endgame, the group is certain to play a role in the future of the MCU. Infinity Watch might also be a good way to take the Infinity Stones out of play so that they're not used again in the future. It would certainly make sense to find a way to neutralize the stones, so it's entirely possible this group will come together in the film in some way, even if it doesn't get called by that name.
