VIDEO: Here's Why Apex Legends Might Be the New Fortnite

Epic Games' Fortnite is probably the most popular video game in the world right now, and it's almost certainly the most popular battle royale game. However, is there a chance that Respawn Entertainment's Apex Legends could take that title away from the old champion? We think that there's some evidence to suggest Apex Legends might just end up becoming more popular than Fortnite.

Firstly, Apex Legends has a battle royale mode, which is the most popular genre out there right now. However, Apex Legends doesn't really play like FortniteApex Legends feels like a mix of TitanfallOverwatch and Fortnite. Plus, its "Legends" mode sets it apart. Legends mode allows players to choose one of eight different legends, which adds a lot of variety to the game.

The game also fixes everything that might be frustrating you about the genre. For example, all compatible attachments are automatically applied to your weapons, meaning that you don't have to attach them yourself, which is pretty handy.
