Godzilla vs. Kong is set to pit the titular two Titans against each other in a fierce battle. However, they're unlikely to be the only giant monsters who appear in the film and there are a lot we'd really like to see take on Godzilla in the film. In this video, we're going to talk about 5 monsters we want to see in Godzilla vs. Kong and why they'd make a great addition to the movie.

The first non-Godzilla, non-Kong monster we want to see is Mechagodzilla. This may also be more than just wishful thinking, as a toy leak hinted the monster might actually appear in the film. While toy leaks aren't always accurate to the content of the movie, Mechagodzilla could be an incredible threat for both the Titans to face while also showcasing the ability of humans to built powerful Titans of their own. There was also a hint in Godzilla: King of the Monsters that Mechagodzilla could make an appearance in Godzilla vs. Kong, so there's a solid chance this monster might actually appear.

Initially set to release on March 13, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures announced last fall that Godzilla vs. Kong had been pushed back to Nov. 20. However, the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic led Warner Bros. to change the blockbuster schedule yet again in June, pushing the film back by a full year this time. The current release date is May 21, 2021.

Directed by Adam Wingard and written by Eric Pearson and Max Borenstein, Godzilla vs. Kong stars Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall and Brian Tyree Henry. The film arrives in theaters May 21, 2021.
