Veronica Mars is back on the case. Hulu has released a trailer for its upcoming revival of the fan-favorite mystery series.

The trailer picks up in the wake of the show's 2014 movie, which was largely funded by fans, and sees Kristin Bell's titular private investigator return to her hometown in Neptune, California, where a rash of bombings breaks out over spring break festivities.

As the trailer reveals, the revival will feature a mix of familiar faces like Jason Dohring's Logan, Veronica's main love interest, and Enrico Colantoni's Keith, Veronica's dad, along with new characters like J. K. Simmons Clyde, a suspect in the bombings.

After premiering on UPN in 2004, Veronica Mars lasted for three seasons as the network morphed into The CW and ended in 2007.
