Marshmallows, it's time to rejoice because Veronica Mars is looking pretty bright -- at least as far as Rotten Tomatoes is concerned.Hulu released Veronica Mars Season 4 ahead of the previously announced July 26 release date following an announcement during the show's panel at Comic Con International. Critics seem thrilled with the latest season, as the show launched with 87% across 23 reviews, though that sank a little bit as the day went on. Still, this was enough to have the show earn the review aggregator's coveted "Certified Fresh" designation.RELATED: REVIEW: Veronica Mars Returns, With Humor & Intrigue

Hulu announced its revival of the classic show last August, with the streaming service revealing it would bring back the fan-favorite sleuth for an eight-episode fourth season. The series revival takes place following the events of 2014's film, which fans helped to fund via Kickstarter, and sees Veronica return to her hometown: Neptune, California.

While the fourth season of the series will see the return of some fan-favorite characters, series creator Rob Thomas revealed that the series will move away from focusing so much on Veronica's personal life opting instead to focus on the mystery. And while the revival appears to be well-received thus far, Hulu hasn't announced any plans just yet for another season. Still, that hasn't stopped both Bell and Thomas from considering what's next for Veronica should a renewal be announced.
