Last month saw the eagerly anticipated return of fan-favorite crime series Veronica Mars for a fourth season. Ending on an explosive cliffhanger, fans hope Hulu will renew the series for a potential fifth season.

While promoting the upcoming final season of The Good Place at a Television Critics Association press event, Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell revealed that the biggest hurdle for the cast and crew to reunite for a fifth season all comes down to scheduling.

"I don’t know, it’s not really how [soon I would want to return] so much as holes in everyone’s schedules," Bell revealed. "It’s kind of like a puzzle you have to put together to find the time frame. That’s a bad answer, but it’s the truth. It’s all logistics.”

While Bell's schedule is poised to open up following the conclusion of The Good Place's fourth and final season, Bell noted that creator and showrunner Rob Thomas is currently working on several new television pilots with the potential be picked up for series orders. This does not include the schedules of other cast members that would return for a fifth season.
