Fans of the current Venom run can own a piece of comic history thanks to Ryan Stegman. The artist is auctioning off the first concept sketches of Knull, God of the Symbiotes, for the #Creators4Comics initiative.Stegman's co-collaborator Donny Cates chimed in, saying that both men would sign the sketch for the winner.RELATED: Venom's Ryan Stegman Goes My Hero Academia With All Might Sketch

Knull first appeared in Venom #3 and revealed the history of the Symbiotes to Eddie Brock in Venom #4. He was born in the void before creation and created the first Symbiote as a weapon, which would become All-Black, the Necrosword. After falling to a distant planet, Knull learned that he could create symbiotes, and sent them spiraling all across the universe, infecting others. However, when one came to Earth, it was struck down by Thor, causing a tear within the hive mind. The symbiotes rose up against Knull and imprisoned him in a cage made of their own bodies until he was finally freed at the end of the Absolute Carnage miniseries.

The #Creators4Coimcs initiative features over 100 creators auctioning off signed comics, original artwork and other items. All proceeds go to the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (BINC). The BINC is using these funds to help comic shops affected by the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.
