For fans who have ever wondered which symbiote from Sony's upcoming film Venom: Let There Be Carnage is the better kisser, director Andy Serkis has the answer.

During an interview with IGN, when asked who would be the better kisser -- Venom or Carnage -- Serkis had an immediate answer. "Oh, definitely Carnage," he said. The director did not elaborate on his answer.

Whether Carnage being the better kisser is addressed in the film was not directly answered by Serkis either. This isn't the only thing Serkis has teased for the film, which is set to premiere in theaters on Sept. 24. In past interviews, the director has teased the possibility of Venom meeting Spider-Man in a future project.

"Look, it depends when you want to get there and also what the appetite is," Serkis stated. "If people want more Venom stories, then to jump straight to Spider-Man, you could be missing out on so many great supervillain characters between now and then." He added, "Point taken, yes, everybody wants to see Venom fight Spider-Man... So I think, again, it's appetite...they'll be sacrificing all of that stuff if they want to rush to that." On top of that, recently, a new poster for the film was rumored to hint at a possible connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well.

Actor Woody Harrelson will star in Venom: Let There Be Carnage opposite Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock/Venom as the villainous symbiote Carnage, who has taken over the body of the serial killer Cletus Kasady. Created by writer David Michelinie and artist Erik Larsen, Cletus Kasady/Carnage debuted in 1991's The Amazing Spider-Man #344 and has been an adversary to both Spider-Man and Venom.

In a recent interview, Hardy described Harrelson's performance as "deliciously wicked," saying, "I think Woody delivers on a level that is...well, you know, he is deliciously wicked. A brilliant actor, perfect." Harrelson's addition to the cast of the Venom sequel was announced in August 2019 after he made his first appearance in the 2018 film's post-credit scene. Venom: Let There Be Carnage will introduce several characters from the Venom/Carnage mythos, including Naomie Harris as Shriek, Stephen Graham as Detective Mulligan, as well as Sean Delaney and Larry Olubamiwo in unknown roles.

Directed by Andy Serkis, Venom: Let There Be Carnage stars Tom Hardy, Woody Harrelson, Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham, Sean Delaney and Larry Olubamiwo. The film arrives in theaters Sept. 24.
