Sony released a new poster for Venom, starring Tom Hardy, along with a tease for the film's first trailer on Thursday.RELATED: Has the Venom Movie Wrapped Production Already? The official Twitter account for the movie released the poster, along with the two-worded message of, "Tomorrow. #Venom." The poster is composed of an all-black background -- the same color as the symbiote -- with the character's large white eyes blanketing each side. Tom Hardy's name, the film title and an October release date occupy the spaces that would normally find Venom's toothy-wide grin.

If a Venom trailer does come out this week, it would follow in the footsteps of today's releases for Deadpool 2 and Jessica Jones Season 2, along with Super Bowl spots for Avengers: Infinity War, Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Mission Impossible: Fallout, Skyscraper and Cloverfield Paradox.

Hardy recently posted images online, hinting that production of Sony's Spider-Man spinoff had completed production. If production has indeed wrapped, then the studio may have enough footage put together to offer fans a glimpse of the symbiotic hero in action.
