Leaked footage from the upcoming Venom trailer has confirmed what everyone already knows: It is a bad idea to mess with Marvel’s alien symbiote.

Granted it is legitimate, the leaked footage offers fans a first look at the villain that will play an integral role in the upcoming movie. The first teaser for Venom was lambasted for not including the one thing most fans want out of a movie based on the character -- Venom itself. The leaked footage, though, looks to be everything a fan might want, as the film’s Venom appears to have been ripped right from the comic book page.

The short video is only a tiny sliver of the first full Venom trailer, which will debut tonight at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Tom Hardy, who plays Eddie Brock and Venom in the upcoming movie, confirmed yesterday that the trailer will release tonight, giving fans a more rounded view of what to expect from the film that has been shrouded in secrecy.

Sony’s CinemaCon event runs tonight from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm. Expect the trailer surface online some time after the event wraps.
