The sequel to 2018's Venom, Let There Be Carnage sees Tom Hardy reprise his role as Eddie Brock/Venom. As Eddie struggles to adjust to his new life as Venom's host, he attempts to get back into the journalism game, interviewing infamous serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson). Things go from bad to worse for Eddie when Kasady breaks out of prison, having bonded to Venom's spawn, Carnage. Harrelson previously made a cameo as Kasady in the first Venom film's mid-credits scene, promising "carnage" upon his escape.

In addition to Hardy and Harrelson, Let There Be Carnage sees Michelle Williams, Reid Scott and Peggy Lu reprise their Venom roles of Anne Weying, Dan Lewis and Mrs. Chen, respectively. The sequel also features a number of newcomers, including Naomie Harris as Frances Barrison/Shriek and Stephen Graham as Detective Mulligan, as well as Sean Delaney and Larry Olubamiwo in undisclosed roles.
