Movie-goers whose appetites are whetted by images of Venom's grotesque, prehensile tongue and signature saliva are in luck: Japanese department store chain Parco is celebrating the Nov. 2 release of the Sony Pictures film with a menu inspired by the alien symbiote. That includes the "Venom Long Black Burger" at its Ikebukuro and Shizuoka locations, topped with a curling bacon "tongue."

If burgers, or bacon tongues, aren't to your tastes, the Ikebukuro location also offers a whimsical "Venom Waffle," decorated with whipped-cream fangs to resemble the alien's gaping maw, and topped with strawberries, blueberries, red berry sauce and, as suggested, ice cream. In case you have a little room, there's the "Berry Dark Smoothie," which is described as a chocolate smoothie with sweet-and-sour berry sauce (which resembles blood), and topped with cocoa powder and whipped cream to replicate Venom's face and eyes.

Parco's Nagoya location is serving a more sophisticated curry/doria combination platter with red paprika "fangs," and the "Devil Whispering Drink" (sweet-and-sour chocolate berry boba). Check out the offerings in the gallery below.
