Eddie Brock and his son, Dylan, have found themselves on a different Earth in "Venom Beyond," the latest story arc in the pages of Venom. Their new surroundings bring with it a lot of tension and stress, which appears to be getting the best of the alien symbiote in a preview of Venom #27 when it does something it has never done before -- utters a curse word.
The preview shows Eddie and the symbiote sharing a psychic conversation as they survey this Earth, which is actually the home of the Ultimate Universe. Venom #26 ended with Eddie, Dylan, the Maker and the new threat, Virus, all being transported to the Ultimate U. While running down some of the unique traits the symbiote provides him, Eddie references how when he asks it where they are, it's only reply is, "No @#$%& clue, Eddie." Apparently, the symbiote has always known what curse words are, but never felt the need to use them until now.
