While Marvel is making headlines with the reveal of Mary Jane Watson as the new host of the Venom symbiote in All-New Venom, but while Eddie Brock might be the new host of the Carnage symbiote in the main Marvel Universe, over in the Venomverse, Eddie Brock is back as Venom, or at least a VERSION of Eddie Brock, as the multiversal Symbiote Hive Mind is putting together a team of Multiversal Venoms to take on the team of Multiversal Spider-Men that are being selected by the Web-Heart, and Eddie Brock is needed as Venom once more in this CBR exclusive preview of next week's Web of Venomoverse: Fresh Brains #1.
Web of Venomoverse: Fresh Brains #1 is from writers Mat Groom, Erica Schultz, David Dastmalchian, Chris Eliopoulos, and artists Juan José Ryp, Luciano Vecchio, Chris Allen, Dylan Burnett, and Eliopoulous, and it features the introduction of a few more new alternate reality versions of Venom ahead of the big confrontation between the Venoms and the Spiders in Spider-Verse vs. Venomverse #1 next month.

'We Got Close': Tom Hardy Reveals Why Venom & Spider-Man Crossover Didn't Happen
Tom Hardy's Venom franchise was a hit with the audience but the only thing missing was Tom Holland's Spider-Man.
In the preview pages, we see the Hive-Mind has put together its main team of Venoms, but it has to go out and seek out a leader for the team. This then sets up the other stories in the volume, which introduce us to a few more new Venoms right before the big Venom/Spider fight next month. In one of the pages, we see some scientists run afoul of the Venom symbiote (in presumably the story that introduces Venomouse). In another page, we see the Venom symbiote stalking the young heroes known as Power Pack ahead of Katie Power bonding with the Venom symbiote.
Finally, we see a page from a story introducing a brand-new version of Eddie Brock and Venom, as the character appears likely to be the choice to lead this team of Venoms, but we won't know until next week who ACTUALLY gets chosen as the leader of this team of Multiversal Venoms, so be sure to pick up a copy of Web of Venomoverse: Fresh Brains #1 next week.
