UPDATED NOV. 7: Sony has reached out to CBR, debunking the purported extra feature list for Venom's Blu-ray release. According to a spokesperson, "none of the features listed are confirmed for the home entertainment release."
A month after Venom hit theaters, the special features for the upcoming home video release have reportedly leaked, including a list of deleted and extended scenes from the Sony antihero film.
Posted online by Anton Volkov from TrailerTrack.com, the details come from a German listing of the film's home video special features, including two deleted scenes and an extended post-credits scene running for over three minutes. The scene had Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock visit serial killer Cletus Kasady in prison with Woody Harrelson appearing as the future supervillain Carnage.
Additional special features include six behind-the-scenes featurettes, music videos for the two songs composed for the film's soundtrack by Eminem and Post Malone, and eight scenes without the CGI rendered Marvel antihero including most of the film's major action sequences.
While no release date for Venom on home video is listed, it is expected to be released sometime in either January or February of next year.
Directed by Ruben Fletcher, Venom stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, Reid Scott, Jenny Slate, Woody Harrelson, Sope Aluko, Scott Deckert, Marcella Bragio and Michelle Lee. The film is out in theaters now.
