Comic book artist Ryan Stegman has revealed a sneak peek at the upcoming Venom story he's currently working on.

On this upcoming Free Comic Book Day, Marvel will release an exclusive Spider-Man/Venom book which will contain stories that will tie into much larger storylines coming in both Amazing Spider-Man and Venom. It will also feature Black Cat, creating a new storyline for her as well.

Stegman released a few panels of the artwork that will be featured in the issue. It shows a bearded and haggard Eddie Brock walking down a city alleyway in the middle of a rainstorm. The head of the Venom symbiote emerges in the last panel to confront Brock.

Stegman's work at Marvel includes The Incredible Hulk, The Amazing Spider-Man and Fantastic Four. He's been working on Venom since the current book began.

Marvel will also be releasing an X-Men book on Free Comic Book Day. Much like the Spider-Man/Venom edition, the X-Men issue will foreshadow upcoming events in the X-Men universe.

Free Comic Book Day will be on Saturday, May 2 of this year. Fans interested can use FindAComicShop.com to find comic book stores participating in the event.
