An international TV spot for Sony Pictures' Venom: Let There Be Carnage that has found its way online includes new footage of both Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson) and Frances Barrison/Shriek (Naomie Harris).

The spot, which features Spanish subtitles and has been uploaded to YouTube by a third-party user, sees notorious serial killer Kasady, the man who would be Carnage, leap over a store counter to attack the clerk. Kasady is then seen dancing in his prison uniform. Elsewhere, Shriek is seen entering what appears to be Eddie Brock's apartment, though it doesn't look like anyone's home.

Let There Be Carnage is expected to feature a romantic relationships between Carnage and Shriek, given the fact that the two were a couple in the original Marvel comic books. Carnage and Shriek, alongside the likes of Doppelganger, Demogoblin and Carrion, famously ran roughshod over the Marvel Universe in the "Maximum Carnage" crossover story arc in the 1990s.

The sequel to Sony's 2018 Spider-Man spinoff film Venom, Let There Be Carnage is directed by Andy Serkis. It premiered in London on Sept. 14 and will arrive stateside exclusively in movie theaters on Oct. 1. The film sees numerous Venom stars reprise their roles, including, of course, Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, as well as Michelle Williams as Anne Weying, Reid Scott as Dan Lewis and Peggy Lu as Mrs. Chen. Harrelson also reprises his role as Kasady, having debuted as the character Venom's mid-credits scene.

Let There Be Carnage features a number of newcomers as well, including Harris as Shriek, not to mention as Stephen Graham as Detective Mulligan. (Graham is presumably playing Marvel police officer Pat Mulligan, who eventually bonds to the symbiote known as Toxin.) Additionally, Sean Delaney and Larry Olubamiwo have been cast in undisclosed roles.

Picking up where Venom left off, Let There Be Carnage finds Eddie struggling to adjust to his new life as host of the Venom symbiote, with Serkis describing the pair as as being in an Odd Couple-esque state. In an attempt to revitalize his journalism career, Eddie interviews Kasady, who is due for execution. However, things go horribly awry when the serial killer bonds with Venom's offspring, Carnage.
