Michelle Williams will reprise her role as Anne Weying in Venom 2.

Speaking with Yahoo!, Williams confirmed she will be back for the Venom sequel, which will be directed by Andy Serkis and partially penned by Eddie Brock actor Tom Hardy. This will afford her a chance to expand on Weying, who briefly bonded with the Symbiote in the first film, calling to mind She-Venom from the comics.

On working with Serkis, who will replace Ruben Fleischer as director, Williams said, "I’m such a fan of Andy’s, and I’m so inspired by what he’s been able to accomplish. He’s so gifted in such a specific way, and I’m very excited to learn from him and be around him."

As of now, little is known about the sequel, although the first film teased Woody Harrelson as Carnage, so while he hasn't signed on to the project yet, it's a safe bet the maniacal Symbiote will appear in the film. Perhaps we could even see Weying fully suit up as She-Venom, or at least some variation of the character.
