CBR can exclusively reveal five new series Vault Comics will put out in 2023.

Vault Comics has announced the titles and creative teams for five new series launching in early 2023. Barbaric: Hell to Pay leads the pack in January from Michael Moreci and Nathan Gooden. Not only will the new title continue the adventures of Soren, Owen and Axe, but it will also pave the way to Vault's "Year of the Axe," a year-long event further expanding the world of Barbaric with more one-shots, spinoffs and series.

Coming in February, Godfell is written by Christopher Sebela and features art by Ben Hennessy. The series takes place in a fantasy world where God falls out of the sky, seemingly dead. A war quickly follows as different families quickly try to claim God's body parts, all while a soldier named Zanzi Vuiline simply tries to make her way home before getting caught up in everyone's antics.

Following in March is The Nasty, which comes from writer John Lees and artist George Kambadais. The Nasty joins a teenager named Thumper Connell as he and his imaginary friend discover a lost "video nasty" -- a term which became widely recognized in 1980s and refers to uncensored, low-budget horror films which bypassed being reviewed by the British Board of Film Classification and oftentimes had to be discreetly distributed in rental stores. Also in March comes Songs For the Dead: Afterlife from Andrea Fort, MC Heron and MJ Erickson, which follows a necromancer named Bethany as she embarks on a dangerous adventure.

Lastly, Money Shot Comes Again launches in April from Tim Seeley and Gisele Lagace. Following Seeley and Sarah Beattie's Money Shot, which was published by Vault Comics in 2020, the new series brings the XXXplorers back for a new story which involves space jellyfish, dumb billionaires and more.
