"Planet of the Apes/Green Lantern" will see Cornelius discover an ancient ring unlike anything he has ever seen. Once the power of the ring is revealed, the Guardians of the Universe reveal to the Lanterns a secret that will send Hal Jordan and the Lanterns racing across the stars in order to beat Sinestro to the source of the power. The Lanterns will "discover a truth that will change them forever on...the Planet of the Apes!"

This won't be the first team-up between BOOM! and DC. Earlier this year, the two comic book publishers joined forces to bring the "Lumberjanes/Gotham Academy" to comic stores. DC Comics has also done crossovers with the Green Lanterns in the past, such as the 2015 collaboration with IDW "Star Trek/Green Lantern: The Spectrum War."

"Planet of the Apes/Green Lantern" #1 arrives February 1 2017 in comic book stores and where digital comics are sold.
