Syfy released the first trailer for the fourth season of Van Helsing during Comic-Con International in San Diego.

The trailer introduces Tricia Helfer's Dracula, with executive producer Chad Oakes previously saying, “She will be a fierce and unstoppable DARK ONE (Dracula)…as the battle between good and evil reaches new heights.”

The four-minute-long trailer Vanessa Van Helsing admitting that she's made mistakes and followed down the wrong path of darkness. However, with her mind clear, she's going to salvage, not kill. From there, scenes are revealed showing Richard Harmon's mysterious character, along with his daughter, who may have special abilities of her own.

As of this writing, the trailer has not officially been released online.

Season 3 of Van Helsing ended with Vanessa finding the Fourth Elder and realizing it was someone she knew all along. It also saw Vanessa inadvertently revive her grandmother, Lily Van Helsing. While Sam becoming the Fourth Elder made it look like he was going to become the big bad for Season 4, there isn't a bigger bad than Dracula -- unless the show plans to subvert the character into something different.
