To celebrate the digital release of Bloodshot, Valiant Comics has released the entirety of Ninjak VS The Valiant Universe on its YouTube channel.
The web series, directed by Aaron Schoenke from Bat in the Sun, is relatively straightforward: MI-6 agent and martial arts master Ninjak (Michael Rowe) falls under the thrall of the lovely, yet lethal Roku (Chantelle Barry.) He soon finds himself battling several of Valiant's heroes, including the armored alien X-O Manowar (Derek Theler), the technopath Livewire (Ciera Foster) and the supernatural hero Darkman (Damion Poitier).
Although Vin Diesel brought Bloodshot to the big screen earlier this month, Power Rangers star Jason David Frank was the first actor to bring the nanite powered super soldier to life. The highlight of the series features Ninjak and Bloodshot engaging in a swordfight, with the former ultimately emerging victorious.
Directed by Dave Wilson with a script by Eric Heisserer (Arrival) and Jeff Wadlow (Truth or Dare), Bloodshot stars Vin Diesel, Guy Pearce, Eiza Gonzalez, and Toby Kebbell. The film is now and available for purchase on digital HD.
Another Valiant Comics property, Harbinger, is currently in development at Paramout Pictures.
