Valiant Entertainment's biggest heroes will be appearing in a slate of upcoming video games.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, such heroes as Bloodshot and Ninjak will appear in a series of games from Blowfish Studios, which is responsible for Siegecraft and Gunscape. The games are said to be multiplatform. Further details were not released.

Valiant Entertainment is a subsidiary of DMG Entertainment. That company's founder and CEO Dan Mintz said of the partnership with Blowfish Studios, "We're thrilled to bring Valiant’s characters back into the video game industry and give fans the opportunity to play as their favorite superheroes. Translating these characters and stories to video games could not come at a more exciting time as we introduce the world to the Valiant Universe on the big screen with the Bloodshot release. These games are poised to become further proof of these characters' immense potential as anchors in pop culture.”

Blowfish head of publishing Michael Bolden added, “Getting the chance to work with Valiant's Universe will certainly bring forth some refreshing new experiences for fans and gamers alike to explore. I've always been a fan of characters like Ninjak, Bloodshot and X-O Manowar. Valiant's universe presents a wealth of unique characters and rich stories that we look forward to introducing to fans as an interactive experience worldwide."

These will not be the first games based off of the Valiant Universe. In the '90s, Acclaim Entertainment owned the company and published several video games based off of its characters. However, these will be the first video games since Acclaim Entertainment declared bankruptcy in 2004. Valiant's characters later returned when Valiant Entertainment rebooted the entire line in 2012.

In addition to these games, there's currently a Bloodshot film in the works. Directed by Dave Wilson (VFX Supervisor for Avengers: Age of Ultron) with a script by Eric Heisserer (Arrival) and Jeff Wadlow (Truth or Dare), Bloodshot stars Vin Diesel, Guy Pearce and Toby Kebbell. The film is slated to arrive on Feb. 21, 2020.
