4 Solar Harnesses The Sun And Burns Away The Shadows Where Villains Hide

In some ways, Solar is Valiant's analog to Marvel's Hulk and DC's Doctor Manhattan, and not just because Dr. Philip Seleski gained his powers in an atomic accident. He would later commit to simply denying his abilities and their meaning.

Essentially, Solar is composed solely of energy and no longer human. This means he cannot be harmed by conventional attacks, he can fire beams of energy from his eyes, and he can create light constructs like John Stewart’s Green Lantern ring. Solar can also manipulate biology and both project and absorb untold quantities of energy.
