Warner Bros. has debuted the red-band trailer for "Vacation," which assures audiences it doesn't matter if they've never heard of the original. "The new vacation will stand on its own," Ed Helms' Rusty Griswold tells his skeptical teen son. "OK?"

The fifth theatrical installment of the comedy-adventure franchise finds grown-up Rusty looking to recreate with family vacation of his youth with a trip to Walley World. Judging from the trailer, it goes about as well as the first one, only this time instead of a bikini-clad Christie Brinkley, there's Chris Hemsworth stripped to his bulging underwear.

Written and directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, "Vacation" also stars Christina Applegate, Leslie Mann, Charlie Day, Beverly D'Angelo, Chevy Chase, Skyler Gisondo and Steele Stebbins. It opens July 31.
