Quiver Distribution has released the first trailer for Useless Humans, an upcoming sci-fi horror film arriving on video-on-demand July 14 that pits the most useless of humanity against an alien invader.
The film follows four longtime friends who reunite to celebrate a 30th birthday. However, when an alien crashes the party, the foursome are forced to fight to save the world.
A poster for Useless Humans finds our four protagonists armed with weapons one would find in a barn or garage, including a saw and pitchfork. An alien UFO hovers in the air over them, along with the phrase, "Humanity's last hope is completely hopeless."
The synopsis for Useless Humans reads: "A thirtieth birthday and the fate of humanity are left hanging in the balance when a ruthless alien crashes the party, forcing these four friends to save the world."
Directed by Stephen Ohl, Useless Humans stars Josh Zuckerman, Rushi Kota, Davida Williams, Luke Youngblood, Edy Ganem, Maya Kazan, Joey Kern and Iqbal Theba. It will arrive on VOD (cable platforms) and all digital platforms July 14.
