Robbie Amell meets his untimely end at the start of Amazon's latest original series Upload, but fortunately, a digital afterlife awaits the former Arrowverse star.

Amazon released the first trailer for the upcoming comedy series, which sees Amell in a world where the dying can upload their consciousness into a digital world to live out their ideal vision of life beyond death. In this new reality, Amell's character, Nathan, quickly discovers that the afterlife isn't all it's cracked up to be, as it includes in-app purchases and support specialists taking on surprise forms.

The new sitcom comes from Greg Daniels, who co-created Parks and Recreation and developed the American version of The Office. Principal photography on Upload took place in Vancouver from March through May last year, and the first season consists of 10 episodes.

The series also stars Andy Allo as Nathan's support specialist, Nora, who finds herself growing closer to Nathan as he navigates the afterlife, entering his world with her own avatar to guide him through the brave, new world.
