For what he's insisted will be his last turn as Wolverine, Hugh Jackman is turning to fans for a little help.

Last night on Twitter, the actor posted a somber teaser image for the 2017 sequel to "The Wolverine," accompanied by the hashtag #OneLastTime. "My last time putting on the claws," he wrote. "What do you want to see happen? 50 words or less. I'll read as many as I can."

The response was quick and varied, ranging from an adaptation of the "Old Man Logan" comic storyline by Mark Millar and Steven McNiven to an appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a la Spider-Man. An R rating, Wolverine's classic comic-book costume, and battles with the likes of the Hulk, Deadpool and Omega Red also received their share of votes.

Of course, not all of the suggestions were serious (or at least we don't think they were): among them, a Wolverine musical, Wolverine on vacation, Wolverine in space, Wolverine vs. ISIS, and ... the death of Cyclops.

Jackman, who's played the character in seven "X-Men" films (and counting) since 2000, recently revealed that a conversation with Jerry Seinfeld helped him to realize it's time to finally hang up the claws.

"He said he'd always had this feeling and belief that you never know when your energy or the audience's energy is gonna dip over and people are like, 'Please go,'" the actor recalled. "He said you should finish on a high. I've been doing it for 17 years. I love it. I think the movies are getting better. And all of a sudden as we was talking, I went, 'This is it.'"

Jackman is rumored to make appearances in "Deadpool" and "X-Men: Apocalypse" before taking his bow in "Wolverine 3" in 2017.
