While some locations such as New York have been confirmed and others are a given, there's still plenty of places that fans would love to be able to explore as they fight through A.I.M.'s forces and the variety of other foes they may be facing. From magical locations to areas that could tease the future of the Marvel gaming franchise, there's plenty of great comic places to explore in the game.

10 Asgard

Thor's kingdom is a beautiful location and is very familiar to mainstream audiences thanks to its place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It would be interesting to see what design choices the game developers chose for the Asgardian realm.

The area is bound to be added to the game at some stage, considering Thor has a starring role. What's more, it's an opportunity to bring in characters like The Mighty Thor, Heimdall, Odin and Valkyrie.

9 Wakanda

The Nation of Wakanda could become a key part of the narrative considering it may have the technological advances to compete against the inventions of A.I.M.

The Black Panther is also a premium Avengers member, so not only would it help to introduce the former prince, but the King's kingdom would be available to explore; from its incredible cities to its dense forests and nature.

8 Attilan

Attilan

The Inhumans have quite a key role in the plot of the Avengers video game. When the experience hits consoles fans will be transported to a world where the Inhumans are shunned by humanity.

While the plot may be about Inhumanity, it appears that the royal family might not be involved in the main story line. Instead, Ms Marvel will be taking center stage. As the game expands it would be interesting to see Attilan involved in the conflict, with the floating city adding a lot to the landscape.

7 Oscorp

Oscorp would be a significant location to include in the game for a variety of reasons. Firstly, the area will be another place for technological advancement, with the crew there perhaps teaming up with A.I.M. as a nod to the comic book days of H.A.M.M.E.R.

Secondly, the existence of Oscorp would confirm that Spider-Man was somewhere in the universe. The web-head has had a successful PS4 game of his own, which fans are desperate to see crossover.

6 The Sanctum Sanctorum

The magical side of the Marvel Universe deserves a spot in this game. Wong, Doctor Strange, Doctor Voodoo and the Scarlet Witch are all characters that have significantly contributed to the team over the years.

The Sanctum Sanctorum is a visually stunning building that could offer up different game mechanics. The various special artifacts could be really fun items for fans to explore as they try to travel through the complicated Bleecker Street building.

5 Avengers Mansion

With the Avengers being the core focus of this console experience it seems extremely likely that their trademark HQ, the Avengers Mansion, could become a part of the location list.

From the living quarters to the training wing, there's a lot of interesting rooms to explore, as the experience of becoming an actual Avengers comes to life in the superhero game.

4 The Savage Land

The Savage Land is a hidden continent from Marvel lore that can be explored in Wakanda Forever.

This dangerous location certainly offers up an opportunity to go big and create a side mission that's unlike anything Marvel has put together in a video game thus far.

Prehistoric beasts, dinosaurs and various never before seen tribes populate this vicious land, as players would have to survive against lizard species and velociraptor.

3 K'un-Lun

K'un-Lun - Iron Fist Marvel Comics

The home of Iron Fist is a mystical area up in the Himalayas, which players would be able to explore. The city is used to having mysterious threats and a strict training regime.

The culture and history of the place could certainly contribute to a compelling side mission and it's difficult to deny that Iron Fist has yet to have his proper due outside of the comics.

2 Stark Tower

While there's been plenty of Iron Man games developed or confirmed for the future, Stark Tower hasn't quite been perfected yet. Players should be able to work their way up the impressive structure.

Each level could offer a new challenge or different type of advancement, with the various experiments of Stark creating problems for players to overcome. It would be a completely unique piece of gameplay.

1 Xavier's School For Gifted Youngsters

Xavier's School

The X-Men and mutants are going to slowly start crossover over with other famous Marvel characters, now that all rights have reverted back to Marvel and Disney.

Professor X's school could be a fun nod to the mutant gene without focusing too heavily upon it; especially since the current plot for the game involving the Inhumans takes some inspiration from mutant stories.
