Warner Bros. recently updated its film slate, with fans expressing surprise that Justice League Dark was still included. No movement has been forthcoming on the film for quite some time, but now director Joseph Kahn has revealed concept art from his failed pitch for the film, from two years ago.
Kahn, known mostly for music videos and his violent Power Rangers short, took to Twitter to unveil images from his take on DC Comics' supernatural heroes from two years ago. His mystical roster consists of Legion's Dan Stevens as Constantine, Game of Thrones' Natalie Dormer as a modern Zatanna, and Doctor Strange's Chiwetel Ejiofor as Jason Blood (who turns into the demon Etrigan). He also shared concept art for Deadman and Swamp Thing, including an animation test for the latter.

Justice League Dark has lingered in developmental hell for quite some time, losing directors such as Guillermo del Toro and Doug Liman. However, WB has made it clear that the film will be joining the DC Extended Universe in the next couple years. Gerard Johnstone was recently attached as writer to the project but other than that, details such as the direction of the plot or potential castings have been scarce.
