This Week, on "Fifty Shades of S.H.I.E.LD."

  • Ward's back! And so is Agent 33! They seem to have a plan! Moving on...
  • The Index and that "whole new category" that got established last episode gets another mention.
  • Coulson and May have another positive interaction with Talbot. Coulson's S.H.I.E.L.D. looks like it's getting mighty cozy with the U.S. government.
  • Skye receives prototype gauntlets #2 on her path to becoming Quake. In the comics, she uses a set of gauntlets to help focus and control her abilities. I doubt the ones she most recently received from Simmons will be the final product, but we're getting there.
  • Bahrain gets another mention, just like last episode. Are we getting closer to learning the reason May is called The Calvary?
  • Gonzales wondered aloud if Coulson was hoarding powered people. Wait, what? That doesn't seem very Coulson, of course, but not much is known about Gonzales; if his mind jumped directly to that, is it possible the idea has crossed his mind for his own purposes, or that he is in the process of doing so himself? Hmmm...
