In a press release, Universal Studios Japan revealed the first look at their Super Nintendo World. The concept art for the upcoming theme park addition doesn't show much, but it does seem to incorporate a medley of elements from across the Mario universe, including Bowser and Peach's respective castles, the fungal buildings and the intricate plumbing system of the Mushroom Kingdom.

While no official opening day has been announced, Universal Studio Japan's Super Nintendo World is intended to be up and running in time for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. Fortunately, Super Nintendo World is also headed to Universal's Orlando and Hollywood theme parks in the coming years.

If you're not a huge fan of the Mario games, don't worry -- Super Nintendo World will also feature other classic Nintendo characters, though they haven't revealed which ones quite yet.
