Underworld co-creator and star, Kevin Grevioux, is developing a film adaption of the upcoming graphic novel, King Of Killers.

Grevioux, who starred in Underworld as the werewolf Raze and also created Blue Marvel for Marvel Comics, will write the screenplay and direct the story which focuses on a hitman who has no choice but to enlist in a $10 million competition for the world's elite assassins in Tokyo, in order to save his daughter's life.

Alain Moussi (Kickboxer, Jiu Jutsu) is tapped to star and admitted that he's hyped for the project. "Kevin has a brilliant vision for the action and visual style of King Of Killers and the first-class KOK team is passionate about bringing that vision to life," he said.

Shane Walker (The Gringo Who Stole Christmas, Gigolos) and Angel Gracia (From Prada to Nada) of Creative Tank will produce alongside Grevioux's production company, Channel 56 Films. With production lined up for November, co-producers Eclipse International expects it to be the first movie to shoot in Tokyo since the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic began.

Eclipse International's Reiko Bradley said the project was "truly a film of this time in that I think we are all ready to get out of hiding from the pandemic and take action." She added, "I love that it takes place in Tokyo, which will give the world an opportunity to experience Tokyo with its modern sensibility blended with its ancient history and culture."
