Holland appears in the familiar white half-buttoned long-sleeve shirt and brown cargo pants and boots that Nathan Drake has made fashionable in Naughty Dog's Uncharted video game series. Earlier in the day, Holland teased releasing a first look photo after the Naughty Dog Twitter account shared a photo of he and actor Nolan North behind-the-scenes. North portrayed Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series.  Fans also got a glimpse at two artifacts that will surely play a role in the live-action adaptation.

September saw the first set photos from Uncharted make their way online, which featured Holland and co-star Mark Wahlberg, who plays Holland's mentor Richard "Sully" Sullivan.

The Uncharted video game series focuses on the life of treasure hunter Nathan Drake, who travels across the world to uncover various mysteries and discover treasures. The film acts as a prequel to the games, with Holland playing a younger version of Drake. Wahlberg's Sully will act as his mentor and father figure. The film features a script from Iron Man screenwriters Art Marcum and Matt Holloway.

Directed by Ruben Fleischer, Uncharted stars Holland and Wahlberg alongside Antonio Banderas, Sophia Ali and Tati Gabrielle. The film is set to arrive in theaters on July 16, 2021.
