Pogo returns in the trailer for The Umbrella Academy Season 3.

Voiced by Adam Godley with motion capture by Ken Hall, Pogo debuted in the first episode of The Umbrella Academy, "We Only See Each Other at Weddings and Funerals." Pogo is a chimpanzee with advanced intelligence and the assistant to Sir Reginald Hargreeves. His mental abilities are the result of a serum given to him by Hargreeves. Viktor Hargreeves/Number Seven (Elliot Page) kills Pogo towards the end of Season 1. A younger version of Pogo appeared in The Umbrella Academy Season 2.

Based on the comic book of the same name by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, Netflix's The Umbrella Academy was created by Steve Blackman. The shows, the first two seasons of which released in 2019 and 2020, follows the Umbrella Academy, a group of children trained by Reginald Hargreeves to be superheroes. The team's line-up consists of Luther Hargreeves/Number One (Tom Hopper), Diego Hargreeves/Number Two (David Castañeda), Allison Hargreeves/Number Three (Emmy Raver-Lampman), Klaus Hargreeves/Number Four (Robert Sheehan), Number Five and Viktor Hargreeves. The Umbrella Academy Season 2 saw the titular group heading back to the '60s to prevent the apocalypse. While there, they interacted with both Pogo and Reginald in their attempts to stop another apocalypse. At the end of the season, The Umbrella Academy returned to the future. However, when they arrived, they found their actions in the past had resulted in a change to the timeline. One of these changes saw Reginald replacing the Umbrella Academy with the Sparrow Academy.

This one, though, seems to have been caused by a time paradox resulting from their temporal travels. Along the way, they'll have to contend with the Sparrow Academy. Promotional materials for The Umbrella Academy Season 3 also indicate the uouting will draw from Hotel Oblivion, which is the third comic book series.

The first two seasons of The Umbrella Academy are available to stream now on Netflix. Season 3 releases on June 22.
