The Umbrella Academy fans got a sneak peek at Nick Offerman's look in the series' upcoming fourth season.

Posted to Twitter, Offerman's eccentric costume includes a fur-lined coat over a denim-on-denim look accentuated by what seems to be a leather fanny pack. Offerman is slated to make his debut on the series in The Umbrella Academy's fourth and final season alongside wife Megan Mullally and fellow comedic actor David Cross.

Offerman's addition to Umbrella Academy was announced in February, with Mullally noting that "[Nick and I portray] a mild-mannered married couple named Jean and Gene, who are college professors. I mean, the deal's not quite closed but let's just pretend it is." Cross will reportedly be playing "shy business owner and family man" Sy Gross, who is "desperate to reconnect with his estranged (and unnamed) daughter." All three are original characters created for the Netflix series rather than having been lifted from the comics like the show's primary cast.

The Final Season of Umbrella Academy

Umbrella Academy showrunner Steve Blackman previously confirmed that the final season of the fan-favorite series will be comprised of "Six amazing episodes!" This followed the August 2022 announcement that a fourth season of Umbrella Academy was underway, with Blackman saying, "I'm so excited that the incredibly loyal fans of The Umbrella Academy will be able to experience the fitting end to the Hargreeves siblings' journey we began five years ago." Blackman added, "But before we get to that conclusion, we've got an amazing story ahead for season four, one that will have fans on the edge of their seats until the final minutes."

Netflix's The Umbrella Academy has famously adapted the comics of the same name created by My Chemical Romance frontman and founder Gerard Way. In December 2022, a video from a 1994 episode of the Sally Jessy Raphael Show resurfaced online in which a young Way addressed a censor regarding the graphic content produced by Boneyard Press, which Way was writing for at the time. In the clip, Way took the censor to task in defense of the medium, asking, "Basically... Grace Anne, why don't you go after the media? Why don't you go after the other things? Why just comics? Comics aren't just for adults. Comics are for everybody."

The Umbrella Academy Seasons 1-3 are currently streaming on Netflix. Season 4 does not yet have an official release date.
