WARNING: The following contains spoilers for The Umbrella Academy Season 2, streaming now on Netflix.

Since Season 1 of the Umbrella Academy, Ben Hargreeves' (Justin H. Min) story has been tied to Klaus Hargreeves' (Robert Sheehan) due to the nature of Klaus' powers. In a Season 2 interview, Ben's portrayer, Justin H. Min had high praise to give to his scene partner, Sheehan.

Min told Collider, "We’re yin and yang. We’re two peas in a pod. I truly genuinely see him as my brother from another mother, and I love him. We fight and we bicker, but at the end of the day, we love each other."

When it came to working with Sheehan, Min had only praise to give. He said, "In terms of working with Robert Sheehan, especially coming back for the second season, there’s such a level of trust there between us. It’s like riding a bike. You just get right back into it. He’s given me so much more confidence in my own improvisational abilities. In Season 1, I was so scared to improv because I had not really done that a lot, in my acting career, but with Robert, that’s his bread and butter. He’s doing that, all the time. I would just watch in awe of him, in Season 1, as he would do that, time and time again, in our scenes, and just find these really interesting, bold, beautiful choices."

Min added, "And I came back to Season 2 ready to play with him. As I said, there’s a level of trust there. So much of our stuff this season, was through the result of just playing tennis, back and forth, and discovering moments, and improvising with each other. It’s just such a blast to work with him. It’s gonna be really weird and sad to not be in every scene with him, in a potential Season 3."

Ben Hargreeves aka The Horror is the deceased member of the Hargreeves clan. Though the circumstances of his death are still unknown, Klaus' power to speak to the dead allows him to maintain a relationship with his dearly departed brother. Season 1 set the groundwork for their relationship, but Season 2 expands on it.

The Umbrella Academy stars Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, and Justin H. Min, with Ritu Arya, Yusuf Gatewood, Marin Ireland, Jordan Claire Robbins, Kate Walsh, and Colm Feore. Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix.
