The Umbrella Academy star Elliot Page has shared a shredded topless poolside photo showing off their first set of swim trunks.

"Trans bb's first swim trunks #transjoy #transisbeautiful," Page captioned the photo while sporting a cap, sunglasses, neckless and red swim trunks. The comments are filled with numerous celebrities offering encouraging words of wisdom, including Miley Cyrus, Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, the official Umbrella Academy Instagram account and Page's Umbrella Academy co-star Justin H. Min.

Elliot Page came out as transgender and non-binary in a social media post in December 2020. "Hi friends, I want to share with you that I am trans, my pronouns are he/they and my name is Elliot," Page shared. "I feel lucky to be writing this. To be here. To have arrived at this place in my life." Shortly thereafter, Netflix promised to update all of Page's past credits to reflect their name change.

Season 3 of The Umbrella Academy was still in early production back in April, according to star Tom Hopper. "Well, the COVID protocols mean that we have shorter days, which means that the actual length of the shoot is going to be a lot longer," Hopper said. "But yeah, we're really near the beginning. We're not that far into it at the moment, so we've got a long way to go, but it's good." He added, "The great thing is the material, the work is amazing, so every day on set is, like I say, a joy and so much fun."

Based on the comic series of the same name by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, The Umbrella Academy stars Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher and Justin H. Min, with Ritu Arya, Yusuf Gatewood, Marin Ireland, Jordan Claire Robbins, Kate Walsh and Colm Feore. Seasons 1 and 2 are now streaming on Netflix.
