Once Goku and Vegeta figure out that they can't compete with Galactus and Silver Surfer individually, they will have no choice but to combine their powers by either using the Potara Fusion technique or the Dance Fusion technique. Either way, Gogeta or Vegito will be born and it might just be a new form altogether because it would be Ultra Instinct Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta fusing. Their power level will increase drastically and maybe they might have a chance again.

There is a reason why Galactus is known as a world-eater. He derives his strength by destroying planets and converting them into energy to absorb. He can use it to blackmail Goku and Vegeta as they care about Earth dearly and would do anything to protect the planet.

Despite their overwhelming individual power levels, Goku and Vegeta still have a long way to go to overpower and outthink Galactus. Add Silver Surfer to the planet-eater's aid and there is very little both Saiyans can do against these two giant cosmic beings. If only Goku and Vegeta would have had other superpowers that are unpredictable, they might have been able to pose a bigger threat to Galactus and Silver Surfer. As it stands, the two Marvel characters are favorites.
