"Ultimate Spider-Man" Voice Actor Arrested on Suspicion of DUI

Actor Drake Bell was arrested earlier this week on suspicion of DUI in Glendale, CA.

Police officers reportedly saw Bell's car swerving and driving 55 mph in a 35 mph zone before abruptly stopping at a red light at 2:20 AM on Dec. 21. The police noticed the smell of alcohol coming from the vehicle, and had Bell take a field sobriety test, which he failed. The actor was then taken into custody and remained locked up for ten hours before being released on bail, as initially reported by TMZ and corroborated by local news outlets, including the LA Times.

Best known as the voice of the animated wall-crawler on Disney XD's "Ultimate Spider-Man," Bell also works as a producer on the series and voices the character for Marvel Animation's other cartoon series.
