Spider-Man is stuck between a rock and a hard place in the latest clip from “Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man vs. The Sinister Six.” Doctor Octopus has reverse engineered Peter Parker's DNA, which means he has discovered a way to remove Peter's powers once and for all, and he is hellbent on making Peter accept defeat -- and the cure.

The clip -- which hails from the two-part series finale -- finds Spidey at the mercy of the Sinister Six, who are holding his Aunt May captive. Doc Ock's terms are simple: take the cure, or Aunt May suffers the consequences. Though the decision is a difficult one, Peter seems all-too-ready to accept the cure. In the clip, he reflects back on his career as Spider-Man and wonders if he has hurt his friends more than helped them by being Spider-Man. The clip shows several of the friends he's referring too, including Mary Jane Watson and Flash Thompson, and he even blames himself for the creation of the Sinister Six.

If this were any other episode, Peter would likely get over his self-doubt and rally himself, ultimately saving Aunt May and the day. However, the fact that this is the series finale makes the threat of Peter losing his abilities all the more real.

“Ultimate Spider-Man” will conclude with its 104th episode. In addition to Drake Bell, the series boasted voice work from Ogie Banks, Chi McBride, Greg Cipes, Logan Miller, Caitlyn Taylor Love and Matt Lanter. Tara Strong, Clark Gregg, J.K. Simmons, Mark Hamill, Milo Ventimiglia, Rose McGowan, Eliza Dushku Phil LeMar, Troy Baker, Tom Kenny, Fred Tatasciore and many more also lent their voices to the star-studded cast of characters.

The animated series started out small, featuring Spider-Man and his friends Luke Cage, Iron Fist, White Tiger and Nova. However, the show quickly evolved, introducing characters like Miles Morales, Scarlet Spider, Spider-Ham, Amadeus Cho’s Iron Spider, Spider-Woman, Spider-Gwen and many more. In true comic book fashion, Bell’s Spider-Man has shuttled between universes and rallied his fellow Web Warriors to battle. Most recently, he has found himself fighting the Sinister Six, which includes the likes of Doctor Octopus, Kraven the Hunter, the Lizard, Rhino, Scorpion and Vulture.

The two-part series finale of “Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man vs. The Sinister Six” airs Saturday, January 7 at 7:30pm on Disney XD.
