This month, "Ultimate Spider-Man's" four-season run will draw to a close with big two-part finale of the show's "Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man vs. The Sinister Six" storyline. In celebration of the event, Marvel Entertainment dropped a new video featuring the cast and crew of the series as they thanked fans and looked back at what made the show unique.

"There have been so many Spider-Man series. A lot of them were very good, so we understood going into it we had to do something really unique and really different," co-executive producer Cort Lane shared.

"They took all these amazing storylines, like 'Maximum Carnage' or... 'The Clone Saga,' and they told their own take of these stories," added Scott Porter, who voices Scarlet Spider.

"I grew up being a comic book fan and a big Spider-Man fan, so to actually hear that I'm going to get to lend my voice to such an iconic character was pretty mind blowing," said Spider-Man himself Drake Bell. "And all of the incredible cast -- that's probably the coolest thing, all the people that I've gotten to work with."

"It felt like a team, as opposed to other Spider-Man stories being mostly about just Spider-Man himself, not about all of his friends and this real team element," Porter pitched in.

The animated series started out small, featuring Spider-Man and his friends Luke Cage, Iron Fist, White Tiger and Nova. However, the show quickly evolved, introducing characters like Miles Morales, Scarlet Spider, Spider-Ham, Amadeus Cho's Iron Spider, Spider-Woman, Spider-Gwen and many more. In true comic book fashion, Bell's Spider-Man has shuttled between universes and rallied his fellow Web Warriors to battle. Most recently, he has found himself fighting the Sinister Six, which includes the likes of Doctor Octopus, Kraven the Hunter, the Lizard, Rhino, Scorpion and Vulture.

"Ultimate Spider-Man" will conclude with its 104th episode. In addition to Bell and Porter, the series boasted voice work from Ogie Banks, Chi McBride, Greg Cipes, Logan Miller, Caitlyn Taylor Love and Matt Lanter. Tara Strong, Clark Gregg, J.K. Simmons, Mark Hamill, Milo Ventimiglia, Rose McGowan, Eliza Dushku Phil LeMar, Troy Baker, Tom Kenny, Fred Tatasciore and many more also lent their voices to the star-studded cast of characters.

The two-part series finale of "Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man vs. The Sinister Six" airs Saturday, January 7 at 7:30pm on Disney XD.
