Ubisoft No Longer Producing Heroes Game

Ubisoft has confirmed it is no longer producing a video game based on the television series "Heroes," saying the rights have reverted back to NBC. The news follows a number of setbacks for the show, now in its third season.

MTV Multiplayer reported yesterday news that Ubisoft’s planned “Heroes” game, based on the popular NBC television series, will not be produced. No specific reason has been given, and the video game rights have reverted back to NBC

The news of the “Heroes” game’s demise comes after a decidedly rough couple of weeks for the beleaguered series, with ratings still failing to match those of the hugely acclaimed first season, Entertainment Weekly publishing a cover story spotlighting criticisms of the show, and NBC firing Executive Producers Jeph Loeb and Jesse Alexander.
