Brandon Routh isn't the only Superman coming to this year's CW's Arrowverse crossover event, "Crisis on Infinite Earths."

Tyler Hoechlin, who has a recurring role as Superman on CW's Supergirl, will also be sporting the iconic red and blue tights for the mega-crossover special. Hoechlin's Superman was last seen proposing to Lois Lane and heading off to Argo City.

Routh will be returning to the role for the first time since his cinematic portrayal of the Man of Steel in 2006's Superman Returns.

He is reportedly going to be playing both Clark Kent/Superman and Ray Palmer/The Atom, who he currently portrays on DC's Legends of Tomorrow. The show will feature multiple versions of Superman from different time frames, allowing Routh to inhabit not only Superman but The Atom.

At this time, it is not known which specific episodes Routh and Hoechlin will feature in.

"Crisis on Infinite Earths" will be split into five parts, uniting the entire Arrowverse franchise for the event. Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman will all be air episodes tying into the story.
