TwoMorrows, Diamond Sign Booktrade Agreement

Press Release

TwoMorrows Publishing has selected Diamond Book Distributors as the exclusive U.S. and non-exclusive worldwide distributor of its English-language graphic novels to the bookstore, library, warehouse, and mass merchandise markets.

Formed by the team of John and Pamela Morrow, Raleigh, NC-based TwoMorrows has become synonymous with its slogan: "Bringing new life to comics fandom!" Through publications such as The Jack Kirby Collector, Alter Ego, Draw!, and the Eisner Award-winning Comic Book Artist, TwoMorrows explores the world behind the scenes of the comic book industry, with a steadfast dedication to making those who created classic comics as famous and beloved as their creations. In addition to its top-rated magazines, the company also publishes a line of books on the same topic, delving into greater detail in volumes such as Kimota! The Miracleman Companion and Comic Books and Other Necessities of Life (by acclaimed comic book personality Mark Evanier).

"TwoMorrows performs a valuable service for our industry and our medium," said Diamond Vice President of Purchasing Bill Schanes. "The company keeps the past alive, while celebrating the potential and promise of comics."

"While the bookstore market can be tricky business," commented TwoMorrows publisher John Morrow, "we didn't hesitate to take the plunge with Diamond. After nearly a decade of dealing with them in the direct market, I trust Diamond to look out for our interests, and help us with our goal or re-energizing as many comics fans, both old and new, as possible."

Diamond's Sales Team will begin working with bookstores, book wholesalers, warehouse clubs, mass merchandisers, and libraries to place TwoMorrows' books across the country. "With more and more people in the mass market waking up to the potential of comics," Schanes added, "this is a great time to augment their understanding and their education with a dose of TwoMorrows' brand of comic book magic!"
